Olivia has naturally curly hair. I think she inherited it from my mother who had curly hair for a time. She grew out of it. Olivia has not grown out of it… yet. When Olivia gets up in the morning, her hair is usually, well, let’s just say, not tame.
She despises getting her hair brushed. I have offered to cut it off so we wouldn’t have to brush it anymore. She strongly disagreed.
This is a picture of Olivia working on her school work. As you can tell, we have not done her hair today. Here it is in it’s natural state. Wild. Uncontrollable.
I love Olivia’s hair. I am secretly dreading the day she grows out of those sweet curls. I am going to enjoy that wild mane of hair for as long as I can.
Love her hair, even wild.
There was a little girl
BY HENRY WADSWORTH LONGFELLOW
There was a little girl,
Who had a little curl,
Right in the middle of her forehead.
When she was good,
She was very good indeed,
But when she was bad she was horrid.
My mom used to recite this to me when I was little and grouchy:)
