Legos. I hate Legos. It’s not the Legos themselves, well, yes it is. When they are spread all over the house, it’s definitely the Legos themselves.
My kids love Legos. My boys especially. When it comes time for birthdays and Christmas, all they want is, you guessed it… Legos. They like the Lego sets. My husband doesn’t. He thinks it’s… unnatural. He thinks you should build things from your imagination. I don’t disagree. My kids don’t either. But they like to have their cake and eat it too.
We have a lot of different sets belonging to different “themes”. We have “Harry Potter”, “Ninjago”, “Pirates of the Caribbean” , “Indiana Jones”, and the list goes on. The kids go through spurts. Right now they are all about “Harry Potter”. A few days ago it was “Ninjago”.
I don’t know how much money we have spent on Legos. I don’t want to know. I do know what Lego set my boys want for Christmas this year. I have known since Hunter’s birthday. Yep, they like to think ahead.
I took these of Olivia playing with a set that belongs to Caleb. He “shared” in order to get her out of their way so they could play their own game. Generous, don’t you think? 😉 This is the burrow from “Harry Potter”. It’s one of her favorites to play with. I think she likes it because it is a house, and it speaks to her girly girl nature.
Legos…love them, hate them…it doesn’t matter. They entertain the kids, and that is worth the headache.
I like Legos. Well, I like to see the kids play with them and get all excited about a new set. I don’t particularly enjoy trying to separate two teeny tiny little pieces for them when they can’t pull them apart. Legos in the carpet aren’t a lot of fun either, but all in all Legos are cool.
