Since the photos on my wall are 6 months old, it’s time to update. I liked how Taylor’s photo turned out, so I decided to do the other kids the same way. I like them to match because I hang them in a grouping. So, here they are, my five, not so little, blessings. 😉
Mother’s Day (picture overload)
I had a great Mother’s Day yesterday. It started off with breakfast in bed. Then at Church, during the third hour, all the men took over all the classes, and the ladies went to the cultural hall where they had chocolate fondue with lots of fun stuff to dip in it. We had the opportunity to sit, eat, and socialize. 🙂 Then after church Brian made a yummy dinner and desert for me. Lastly, he took pictures of me and the kids. It was such a fun and relaxing day. Here are the pictures Brian took. Just for the record, Hunter went first, and he started the “kissing” picture trend. 😉

Taylor’s Graduation Announcement
I received Taylor’s graduation announcements in the mail today. We ordered some “traditional” ones through the school, per Taylor’s request, and then I designed one as well. (The frame is not part of the announcement, it’s just for the blog) Personally, I like mine better. 😉 The date is coming up very quickly.
Lost and Found
Yesterday I took photos of Taylor for his senior announcements. When I downloaded the pictures, I found some photos I had taken of Olivia before our trip to TX. I love how cheesy she has gotten. She used to turn away from the camera, but now, if she is in the right mood, she loves to pose. Finding these has made me realize I really need to pick up my camera more often. I’ve gotten a bit lazy about it, but now I see what I am missing out on. 🙂
Our Graduate
Here he is, or was this afternoon. 🙂 It’s hard to believe he will graduate in just a few weeks. Time really has gone by so quickly. Makes a mama’s heart hurt just a bit.
The Eagle Eye…(a Hartley family trait)
This is Olivia’s new “dirty look”. Actually it is when she is pretending to be mad. I have NO idea where she gets it from!!! Well, ok, maybe I do. Considering her Papa is famous for his “eagle eye” and well, I am too. 😉
**for those interested I took this using my mom’s rebel t2i @ iso 6400 f/5.6 shutter speed 1/13 — It was getting dark outside.
“Just one more Mommy”
Brian had dozed off this afternoon and I was a bit bored. Olivia was hanging around, so I asked if I could take her picture. She let me take one. Then when I tried to take another, she looked down. The last of these pictures is of her telling me, “no more mommy”, and that is where it ended. 😉
