This Weeks Challenge

This week in Camera Club we have the assignment of “Faces”.  Wednesday I wasn’t feeling so good, so I laid down to see if I could take a quick nap.  No such luck.  It wasn’t long before I had been invaded.  Since they were invading me, I thought I would take the opportunity to take some pictures.  They are so close up because the kids were just that close to me.  They didn’t want to hop off my bed even for a minute. 😉

Not Feeling So Good

We have all been sick this past week.  Today we went to the park so the kids could play with their friends while I walked with my friends.  They had a great time.  Unfortunately, Olivia started having a tough time breathing this afternoon.  I think getting over a cold and the allergy weather we are having was just a bit too much for her. 🙁  Here she is taking it easy on my bed.

I LOVE technology. 😉

Super Taylor

I have had this idea for Taylor’s Missionary announcement for a year now.  I have just been waiting to do it.  Sunday we went and took the pictures for it.  It was pretty funny.  In every series, the last picture was of Taylor laughing.  He had a hard time keeping a straight face. 🙂 Thanks Taylor for being such a good sport.  We are so proud of your decision to serve a mission.

Elder Woodland

Yesterday we went to the temple to take some photos of Taylor.  I had envisioned a photo for his missionary announcement, and we went to capture it.  I’ll post that photo later, but I wanted to post the two more serious photos I took of him yesterday.  It’s amazing how quickly the last 19 years have gone.  We have talked about him serving a mission since before he was born.  We are so proud of him for being willing to serve, and so excited for him to experience life in Russia.

This Is What Today Looked Like…

Olivia is not feeling good today.  When they boys started their school work she laid down in the recliner and fell asleep almost immediately.  After the boys finished their math, grammar, and vocabulary, they came into to do their reading.  It was so quiet!!!  I loved it. 🙂  Olivia actually slept almost 3 hours!!  I used my iphone to take pictures of them so they wouldn’t notice me. (That’s why the quality isn’t very good.)  Olivia has grown so much her blanket is no longer long enough for her.  I need to finish her new one and see if I can get her to switch with me.  Wish me luck. 😉

Tiny Bubbles

Yesterday the kids went outside to try out their colored bubbles.  Hunter’s were purple, Caleb’s yellow, and Olivia’s were pink.  I needed to snag some action shots for Camera Club, so I went out and took pictures of them blowing bubbles.  Olivia was disappointed because she didn’t think her’s were pink enough though. 🙁
