I forgot I had taken these pictures on Christmas Eve. Here are each of the kids with their chosen animal from Build-A-Bear. Olivia insisted on getting the “Rapunzel” dress for her little dog. The boys both chose the same bear. It’s funny how often that has happened. They had a great time. 🙂
Look Who We Ran Into
This morning we took the kids to Build-A-Bear (will post pics with bears later). After we finished, we decided to run to Krispy Kreme for donuts. When we walked in the door guess who was there?? Santa!! The kids got to sit on his lap, and then put sprinkles on their own donut!! How lucky were we? We were also lucky that Brian had his Iphone so he could take pictures of the kids with Santa. 🙂
Playing Games
We are on our Christmas break here at our house. With that comes a little more freedom with electronics. Normally, electronics are only allowed on Fridays, after school work is complete, and on Saturdays. However, with our break comes more freedom. Yesterday morning Olivia was busy playing her DS. She wears the headphones because she knows the music from the games can get annoying to those around her. She was so busy playing her game she didn’t notice the first 5 pictures I took of her. Once she realized what I was doing, she looked up and gave me a smile. It still cracks me up that at 4 she can play games better than I can. 🙂
A Happy Heart
This is what I found when I came down the stairs this morning. The boys were letting Olivia “read” them a story. They were so enthralled, they didn’t notice me taking pictures. It makes my heart happy to see moments like this. 🙂
O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree…
How tasty are your branches?? Hmm, I don’t think that is exactly how the song goes, but it definitely applies to these little trees the kids made. We got the idea from Pack Meeting last Wednesday night. It is funny to watch the kids work. Olivia is very focused and slowly works making sure that it is exactly as she wants it. Caleb just slaps on a few pieces of candy, and he is good to go. Hunter actually finished this project pretty quickly and without any help. He usually wants it to look exactly like the example, but this time he didn’t seem to worry about it. They had fun and their trees turned out cute. On to the next project… 🙂
Yummy
One of the few perks to this yucky cold weather is having yummy hot chocolate while sitting by the fire. 🙂
A Few More From Caleb’s Baptism
Now that everything has settled down from our busy weekend, I had a chance to edit a few more photos from Caleb’s baptism. 🙂
